When using Simplarice, we process the following personal data:

• Email address

  For authentication and login to the service.

  Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance)

• Username and profile picture

  To display your profile to team members.

  Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance)

• Log data (IP address, timestamps, accessed URLs)

  For operational security and error analysis.

  Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest)

3. Hosting

Simplarice is hosted exclusively on servers in Germany. Your data does not leave the European Union.

4. Cookies

We only use technically necessary cookies. After login, a session cookie (authjs.session-token) is set, which is required to maintain your session. This cookie does not require consent as it is strictly necessary for the provision of the service (§ 25(2) TTDSG). We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising cookies.

5. Data Disclosure

Your personal data is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes. Transmission only occurs where required by law.

6. Retention Periods

Your account data (email, username, profile picture) is stored as long as your account is active. After deletion, it is permanently erased within 30 days. Log data is automatically deleted after 14 days at the latest.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
